Heavyweight Loopback Jersey is a fabric often used in the construction of Sweatshirts, T-Shirts & Underwear. The name refers to the loop-like properties on the inside of the fabric, something which is very useful for athletes due to its sweat-absorbing effect.

Some brands brush their Loopback Jersey to fluff up the cotton and create a softer initial finish. However, once washed, the softness disappears and the garment begins to lose weight through lint deposits and therefore durability is reduced.
